It covers three categories of inspection bodies:
- Type A: Fully independent from design, manufacturing, and sales

- Type C: Internal inspections with potential operational overlap
Pro QC has been certified as a Type A body, the most independent classification, by CNAS, China’s national accreditation authority.
This means every part of the inspection process, from work assignment and training to execution and reporting, is subject to impartiality controls, audit trails, and competency requirements.

The accreditation process reviewed Pro QC’s China operations in detail, with a focus on the company’s Ningbo office, which acts as the certified inspection hub.

To request a certified inspection:
- It must be scheduled with Pro QC China
- It must fall within the defined product categories and service scope
- The request must specify that the client wants a CNAS-accredited report
These inspections are issued in English (or Chinese if requested by the client) and follow the reporting structure reviewed during accreditation. The process is more structured, and while lead times are comparable, documentation is more rigorous.
