First-Article Inspections (FAI)

In-Process Inspections (IPI/DUPRO)
- Service Description:
IPI evaluates machining progress, welding stages, casting finishing, heat treatment, and pre-coating preparation. For metal components, inspectors check machining accuracy, weld alignment, penetration, bead quality, and process control parameters to ensure quality foundations are established before final finishing. - Recommended Application:
IPI is essential when producing precision metal parts, safety-critical weldments, or large production runs where early detection prevents costly systemic defects and reduces scrap.
Pre-Shipment Inspections (PSI)

A final inspection of finished metal parts is performed based on ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 for sampling.
