Here are our favorite resources that we recommend to our own team to stay up-to-date with the industry: Alison This site promotes free certified learning, with courses that include an Introduction to Manufacturing Processes, Fundamentals of Quality Standards, Understanding Cost of Quality and TQM Tools, and more. ASQ’s Quality Topics A-Z You don’t need to be a member to access this rich collection of quality-related information. From auditing to Z1.4 and Z1.9, this site is a one-stop shop. Coursera Access over 1,000 courses for free, including supply chain management and operations management. Courses are setup by week and include a series of instructional videos. edX “Founded by Harvard and The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), anyone with an Internet connection can gain access to courses from Harvard, MIT, and other partner academic institutions. EdX was created for students and institutions that seek to transform themselves through cutting-edge technologies, innovative pedagogy, and rigorous courses.” Courses include Product Design, Project Management and more. Gemba Academy We love lean, and this site offers virtual training opportunities presented in a consistent and easy to follow format. There is a membership, but the Learn 7 Quality Tools in 8 Minutes video is free and worth the watch.
