  • Professional information (e.g. company name, area of interest)
  • Usage and technical data, such as:
    • IP address (anonymised or truncated where applicable)
    • Browser type and version
    • Pages visited, time and date of visit, and other usage statistics
    • Device information and operating system
  • Marketing and communication preferences (e.g. whether you wish to receive newsletters or information about our services)

2. How we use the information

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and improve our services
Including responding to your enquiries, providing quotations, delivering our services and improving the quality and relevance of our Website and communications.
  • Internal record keeping
To maintain accurate records of clients, prospects and business contacts.
  • Analytics and performance
To understand how visitors use our Website and to improve structure, content and user experience (for example via Google Analytics 4, only when you have given consent).
  • Marketing communications
To send you information about our services, events or offers that we believe may be of interest to you, where permitted by law and depending on your communication preferences.
  • Security and fraud prevention
To protect our Website and infrastructure, detect and prevent malicious activity and ensure the integrity and availability of our services (for example firewall and security services such as Wordfence or MalCare).
  • Legal and compliance
To comply with legal obligations, exercise or defend legal claims, and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

2.1 Who we share your data with & international transfers

We may share personal data with the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers acting as processors (e.g. hosting provider, IT security, email delivery, analytics and marketing tools)
  • Professional advisers (lawyers, accountants, auditors)
  • Competent authorities when required by law

Some recipients are located outside the EEA/UK (mainly in the United States). When we transfer personal data to countries that are not considered to provide an adequate level of protection, we use:

  • EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, and/or
  • UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or UK Addendum where applicable

Current main non-EEA recipients: Google LLC (Google Analytics), LinkedIn Corporation, Microsoft Corporation, Cloudflare, Inc. (security services including Cloudflare Turnstile) – all covered by SCCs and appropriate supplementary measures.

2.2 Data breach notification

In the unlikely event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the competent supervisory authority without undue delay and, where feasible, not later than 72 hours after having become aware of it. If the breach is likely to result in a high risk, we will also communicate the breach to you.

3. Legal bases for processing (where GDPR applies)

Where the EU/EEA or UK data protection laws apply, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract – when processing is necessary to deliver services you have requested or to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.
  • Legitimate interests – for example to maintain and improve our Website, ensure IT security, protect against fraud and manage our business, provided that your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
  • Consent – for placing and reading non-essential cookies (Analytics, Marketing) and for sending certain marketing communications where required.
  • Legal obligation – where processing is necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
