In the article, a study highlights what customers value in products varies by industry.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1640\" src=\"https:\/\/proqc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/1472758161.webp\" alt=\"1472758161\" width=\"255\" height=\"377\" \/><\/p>\n<p>An included table summarizes the top 10 elements of value that various industries find influence loyalty. (Left)<\/p>\n<p>The 10 types of businesses evaluated include:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Apparel\/Retail<\/li>\n<li>TV Service Providers<\/li>\n<li>Discount Retail<\/li>\n<li>Consumer Banking<\/li>\n<li>Grocery<\/li>\n<li>Brokerage<\/li>\n<li>Food and Beverages<\/li>\n<li>Auto Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Smartphones<\/li>\n<li>Credit Cards<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>See anything in common? For all industries noted, <strong>&#8220;Quality&#8221;<\/strong> is referenced at the top of the list.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Some elements do matter more than others. Across all industries studied, perceived quality affects customer advocacy more than any other element. Products and services must attain a certain minimum level, and no other elements can make up for a significant shortfall on this one.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A rigorous model of consumer value allows a company to come up with new combinations\u00a0of value that its products and services could deliver.
